Martin Stimela, the Co-founder and CEO of Brastorne, is dedicated to addressing the digital divide that affects 760 million underserved Africans. With a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in digital transformation, Martin has worked in major transformation projects for Banks (Lloyds Banking Group) and utility Companies (EON, RWE) in Europe, being a Director of the Botswana Savings Bank and successfully managing US government cooperative agreements aimed at enhancing health systems as Informatics Director for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and USAID.
Martin currently serves as the President of the Southern Africa chapter of Stanford Seed, a partnership between Stanford University and De-beers aimed at ending global poverty.

Tyler Schooley is an American entrepreneur who has made Africa his home for the past 16 years. As an alum of the Stanford Seed class of 2019, he has gained valuable knowledge and skills to fuel his entrepreneurial journey. In 2013, Tyler founded Rocket in Kampala, Uganda, with just $5,000 of seed capital. Through strategic bootstrapping, he grew the company to achieve an impressive annual revenue of $3 million.
Rocket is a specialized branded merchandise firm that offers a diverse range of products, including corporate gifts, promotional items, and branded outdoor materials. Serving multinational clients such as Coca-Cola, MTN, Shell, and Standard Chartered Bank, Rocket has established itself as a trusted partner across Africa. With offices in Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Seychelles, and Kenya, the company has a strong presence in key markets.
In 2022, Tyler led Rocket through a significant milestone by orchestrating a merger with Big Eye Branding and Promobasket, forming the Inspire Group. Today, Tyler serves as the Group CEO, leading a company that has 2,000+ clients located in 40 countries across Africa that the company serves through its offices in 10 countries.
While Tyler is now based in Cape Town, he has previously lived in Kampala and Nairobi, enriching his understanding of the African business landscape. With a passion for entrepreneurship and a commitment to making a positive impact, Tyler continues to drive innovation and success in the African business ecosystem.
